Involvement is:
• Giving people a range of ways to have their say
• Listening to what they tell us and being clear about what we can do
• Providing everyone with the opportunity to influence the services they receive in a way that is appropriate to their needs
Our broad approach to involvement means that we offer a wide menu of ways to get involved, from individualised Support Planning and Risk Assessment to policy consultations and Board membership.
We support staff to offer their residents and service users a number of opportunities to be involved in important local decision making, including:
Resident Meetings and House Meetings - These are held regularly in shared schemes and projects to discuss concerns and issues about living together. Meetings are held regularly and are a way of sharing information, opinions and decisions. They are also a good way of getting to know the people who live in your scheme.
Giving us your Feedback - We run regular surveys to find out more about your experience of our services and how we can improve them. In addition, we welcome your suggestions and feedback about any aspect of service, so please let staff know what you think. We will always get back to you to let you know what we can do.
Events - This is a great way to get involved with other service users and chat with staff. If you have an idea for an event or want to help organise something, please let us know.
The Circle Support Involvement team also provides involvement opportunities at a strategic level that make a real impact on service delivery.
