Neighbourhood Walkabouts

Come and join us on one of our Neighbourhood Walkabouts. Your knowledge is valuable to us so if you have a spare half an hour to an hour please come and join us. On some walkabouts we will be joined by our partners from the local police safer neighbourhood teams. Where we have grounds and cleaning contracts, Burleys and Cleanscapes will also join us.

Staff from the housing management team are out and about on site regularly, but at scheduled times we will carry out walkabouts in the neighbourhoods listed below. If you would like to come along and join us, click on your neighbourhood to check when and where to meet.

MVHA Neighbourhood Walkabout2

This is your chance to tell and show us what matters to you in your Neighbourhood. It could be a dumped car or a damaged sign. You may want us to consider an improvement to your neighbourhood such as a seating area. Whatever it is come and have a walkabout and tell us your views.

Local Offer

We have also introduced a Local Offer around Neighbourhood Walkabouts and residents were invited to join a working group to help us develop the offer. The group compared our services with other landlords, and worked with staff to revise, review and agree standards for they Neighbourhood Walkabouts. They also set how the performance and resident satisfaction would be monitored.
