Neighbourhood Officer patch changes with effect from Monday 11 October 2010.

With effect from Monday 11 October 2010, Roddons Housing Association have relaunched the service provided by our Neighbourhood Team.

With a strong emphasis on greater accountability to residents and communities, our vision is to deliver enhanced life chances and customer-focused solutions. We will achieve this through:

responsive tenancy management
improving the quality of the estate environment
proactively responding to incidents of antisocial behaviour
actively involving residents and working in partnership.

Residents have been sent a letter introducing the Neighbourhood Officer for their area, explaining the role of the Neighbourhood Officer in providing a housing management service. The letter offered residents a visit to their home, at their convenience within office hours, for the Neighbourhood Officer to provide any advice or assistance on matters concerning their tenancy or the opportunity to discuss local issues in their community. It also reiterated the Neighbourhood Officers’ role in supporting and working in partnership with local residents groups and other agencies to ensure our estates are nice places to live in, and that any issues are dealt with quickly.
